A song that was composed by Tiar Ramon was popularized by a singer from Minang, Elly Kasim in 1980. The upbeat song is accompaniment song of Badindin dance or Indang dance from West Sumatra. The word of "indang" itself is a name of instrument like tambourine. Indang dance is energic and young dance. "Badindin" song with Malay rhythm is very suitable to become the accompaniment song. Meaning of the lyrics is full of deep messages to protect Minang culture. Most of the lyrics tell about Indang dance that is dance of heart treatment.
