Ambassador Iwan Bogananta submits credentials to President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski

Indonesian Ambassador Iwan Bogananta submitted credentials to the President of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski. Ambassador Iwan also conveyed that Indonesia is ready to increase cooperation with the country. Information from the Indonesian Embassy in Sofia received in Jakarta last Friday (22/10) stated that Ambassador Iwan Bogananta is trusted by President Joko Widodo to serve as the Indonesian Ambassador to Bulgaria, Albania and North Macedonia. Completing the submission of the credentials from President Joko Widodo which was given to the Governments of Bulgaria and Albania, Ambassador Iwan Bogananta also delivered a similar credential and met President Stevo Pendarovski more recently.

Ambassador Iwan Bogananta enclosed the credentials from President Joko Widodo with a souvenir in the form of a bamboo bicycle by small and medium-sized businesses as a symbol of Indonesia's hope to build closer bilateral relations with North Macedonia. He also expressed his pleasure to meet President Stevo Pendarovski and he conveyed the best regards from President Joko Widodo after the online submission of credentials took place last April. Ambassador Iwan hopes that a direct meeting with President Stevo Pendarovski will be a door for more open cooperation between Indonesia and the country. He added that his side discussed plans for bilateral cooperation between the two countries extensively, especially in the fields of economy and tourism. North Macedonia is a country that has a wealth of culture, art, music, poetry and architecture.
